Welcome to the M R Ratcliffe Claims App

Our new Claims App helps you report claims easier and faster to us and can be done at the scene of an accident or loss by the driver.

  • Key information can be captured at the scene including location and pictures
  • Claims notified within minutes
  • Fast incident reporting can reduce claim costs and keep premiums down

Download the `M R Ratcliffe Claims App’ to your mobile phone from either the Google Play store for Android devices or itunes for iOS devices.

Each driver will need to download and register the App on their own device. They will need to have their own email address, then register as follows:

Step 1.

Drivers name, phone number, date of birth, drivers email address.

Company name i.e policyholder’s name including trading as name.

You will be sent a verification code by text, enter this when prompted.

Step 2.

Now add the motor policy details:

Select Motor

Client ref. number – enter the policyholders name including any trading name.

Email address of the policyholder or transport manager who will receive a copy of the report.

Date passed  driving test.

It does give you the option to upload a copy of your driving licence if you have this available.

You’re now registered and ready to go.

I have an android phone and choosing my birthday requires me to scroll thousands of times…

On an Android phone select the year of birth first, then select month then date.

What happens if I don’t have 3G/4G or WIFI when I try to submit the claim?

The claims data is stored on the phone when the claim is being recorded. This means that even if the user presses “send” when they have no signal, the data will be stored on the phone and submitted when they have a suitable connection.

What if my phone battery runs out when I try to submit a claim?

Much like the answer above, the claims data is stored on the phone. The information you have input thus far will be saved on the App so you can “resume” the report once your phone has charged.

If I forget to submit a claim at the time of the incident via the App, should I still do so?

Yes, although the App is ideally to be used at the scene of the accident i.e. to capture GPS and make sure the claim is reported speedily, you can fill out the report at a later time. This shall require you to manually import the location and upload any photos you have taken, however, it is recommended you use the App as soon as possible.

If I have more than one policy, which one do I register on the App?

You would need to register each policy onto the App. However if only certain drivers use certain vehicles then to save time drivers only need to register the policy which covers the vehicle/s which they drive.
