Back in the 1970s a young Mr Michael Ratcliffe arrived looking for business. On agreement he proceeded to sort all policies and put them in order, question some cover and ask about areas not covered. This was our man – he took charge. We were his first customer.

Today, he and his team continue to sort out the complex nature of transport and insurance very professionally.

As a family run business we are proud and happy to have been insured by M R Ratcliffe for over 40 years, and now have sons and daughters carrying on our close business relationship.

Having dealt with Ratcliffes for over ten years I can honestly say we’ve always been very satisfied with their service.

Even though we’re based the other side of the country, there’s never been an issue with the handling of claims or renewals. I’ve dealt with only a few staff directly, but have met other members in the team, and all are extremely friendly and helpful.

We are regularly contacted by other brokers who wish to take on our business, but I see no reason to consider changing what has been a very good working relationship, which I’m sure will continue long into the future.
